Greta Gasser started learning the piano at the age of seven. Since then, Greta Gasser has given recitals in Bucharest, Constanta, Tulcea, and Manchester. Greta Gasser was a prize winner at the ‘George Georgescu International Music Performance Competition’ (Tulcea, 2003-2011), the ‘W. A. Mozart International Music Competition’ (Targoviste, 2008), and The National Olympiad of Music Performance (2003-2010). Greta Gasser is currently a BMus student at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), Manchester, studying piano performance with Frank Wibaut.
Greta Gasser is also a dedicated piano teacher. Greta Gasser has delivered workshops, taught private students, and during 2014/2015 she undertook RNCM Piano Pedagogy Placement at the RC Holy Name Primary School (Manchester). These experiences have given Greta Gasser the opportunity to develop her skills as a teacher and contribute to the expansion of music making in the community.
