Born in Romania, in a family of musicians, she starts studying piano at the age of 6 and makes her debut in the artistic life with recitals and concerts accompanied by the Philarmonic Orchestras of Timişoara and Bacău. She participated in various musical competitions in Romania, being awarded, throughout her evolution, numerous prizes among which: Paul Constantinescu – Ploiesti , J.S. Bach – Cluj, Marţian Negrea – Ploieşti, Romantic Miniature – Galaţi, Mozart – Târgovişte , George Georgescu- Tulcea, Festivalul şi Mozart Festival and Competition – Cluj, 2nd Prize at the National Competition of Romanian Lied – Braşov, the Steliana Calos award, within the Ionel Perlea National Lied Festival and Interpretation Competition Slobozia where the next year wins the Trophy, the 2nd prize at the International Singing Competition Sabin Drăgoi, Timișoara, Romania. She has a bachelor’s degree in musical interpretation – piano, a master degree diploma in vocal art (Professor PhD Eleonora Enăchescu’s class) and a second master degree diploma in interpretation in vocal art at Haute Ecole de Musique Genève.
She speaks fluently italian, english and french. Stanca-Maria Manoleanu performed in a number of recitals and concerts in Bucharest, and throughout Romania in renown venues as Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Grand Thèâtre de Genève, Accademia di Romania in Rome, Romanian Atheneum, aswell as in all most important stages in Romania. In the past years she performed in various Contemporary Music Festivals as Intrada and Meridian and also participated in numerous contemporary music projects and recitals.
She attended master classes conducted by lyric art great personalities, among which: Renato Bruson, Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Barbara Hendricks, Claudio Desderi and she was also guided by the great romanian sopranos Nelly Miricioiu and Leontina Văduva.
She makes her debut on the stage of the Bucharest National Opera House in 2012, by interpreting the role Donna Anna in W.A. Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni. Massenet, Gwendoline – Gwendoline – E. Chabrier, Micaëla – Carmen – G. Bizet, Giulietta – I Montecchi e I Capuleti – V. Bellini, Adina – L’elisir d’amore – G. Donizetti, Pamina – The Magic Flute – W.A. Mozart, Donna Elvira, Zerlina – Don Giovanni – W. A. Mozart, Susanna – Le Nozze di Figaro – W. A. Mozart, Servilia – La clemenza di Tito – W. A. Mozart, Ottavia – L’Incoronazione di Popeea – Cl. Monteverdi.
She is currently a member of the National Bucharest Opera House.
