Daria Tudor s-a nascut pe 25 iulie 1997 la Ploiesti. A inceput studiul pianului in orasul natal, la varsta de 4 ani, cu prof. Anca Borcea. Din 2006 se muta la Colegiul National de Arte “Dinu Lipatti” din Bucuresti, la clasa prof. dr. Adriana Bocaneanu. Inca din 2002 incepe colaborarea cu prof. univ. dr. Serban – Dimitrie Soreanu de la Universitatea Nationala de Muzica din Bucuresti, alaturi de care Daria Tudor se va instrui si forma pana in 2014 ca om si ca muzician. In februarie 2015 trece examenul de admitere la Universität der Künste- Berlin, fiind admisa la clasa prof. Pascal Devoyon.

Daria Tudor este membra a Trioului “Sternin” (alaturi de violonista Georgeta Iordache si de violoncelistii Ella Bokor si Andrei Ionita).

Daria isi face debutul artistic in 2002, obtinand premiul I la Concursul National “Paul Constantinescu”. De-a lungul anilor, a fost laureata a numeroase concursuri nationale si internationale: 2015 – a II-a editie a Festivalului international “Sabin Pautza” – Marele Premiu al Festivalului; Concursul International de pian, Malta – Premiul III; a XVI editie a concursului international de pian de la Montrond les Bains, categoria pana la 26 de ani, Franta – Premiul I; a XII-a editie a concursului international de pian “Citta di Padova”, la sectiunea “Soloists and Orchestra”, categoria pana la 36 ani – Premiul I; 2014 – a XII-a editie a concursului international de pian “Citta di Padova”, la sectiunea “Virtuosity” – Premiul II; a XXX-a editie a concursului international “Valsesia Musica”, categoria pana la 37 de ani – semifinalista; “Barlassina International Young Talents Competition”, categoriile concerte clasice si romantice – Premiul II; 2013 – editia a XII-a a concursul international de pian “Nice Cote d’Azur”, sectiunea “Diplôme de Concert”, categoria pana la 23 ani – Premiul II; a XXIII-a editie a concursului international de pian “Citta di Cantu”, categoria pana la 35 ani – semifinalista; 2005 – concursul european de interpretare “Antonino Miserendino”, Italia -Marele Premiu Absolut; 2004 – “Jeunesses Musicales”, Bucuresti – Premiul I. De asemenea, a castigat si concursurile de muzica camerala “George Georgescu”, “Gradus ad Parnassum” si “Drumul spre Celebritate”.

Daria Tudor sustine primul concert la varsta de numai 9 ani, alaturi de Orchestra de Camera Radio si de dirijorul Alexandru Ganea, in Studioul “Mihail Jora” al Radiodifuziunii Romane. De atunci, Daria Tudor a concertat alaturi de dirijori precum Maffeo Scarpis, Dirk Vermeulen, Fakhradin Kerimov, Horia Andreescu, Vladimir Onufriev, Ilarion Ionescu-Galati, Ovidiu Balan, Sabin Pautza, Vlad Conta, Vlad Agachi, Costin Grigore, Radu Postavaru, de majoritatea orchestrelor filarmonicilor de stat din Romania, precum si de orchesta “Prima la Musica” din Bruxelles (in Sala Mare a Teatrului Regal “La Monnaie” din Bruxelles) si de orchestra filarmonica a Padovei si Venetiei.

Daria Tudor a avut, de asemenea, si o bogata activitate solistica si camerala (cu Trio “Sternin”), sustinand recitaluri in cadrul stagiunilor filarmonicilor nationale, pe Scena mare a Conservatorului Regal din Bruxelles, in Sala mare a Teatrului “Givatayim” din Tel Aviv, in sala “Atelier” a Teatrului National din Bucuresti, la ICR – Berlin, in sala “Studio” a Ateneului Roman, in studioulul “Mihail Jora” al Societatii Romane de Radio, la Castelul Peles din Sinaia, in Catedrala Sf. Andrei din Ploiesti.

In 2013, Daria Tudor inregistreaza pentru “Fonoteca de Aur” a Radiodifuziunii Romane concertul pentru pian si orchestra nr.1, op.15 de Ludwig van Beethoven, alaturi de Orchestra de Camera Radio, avandu-l la pupitru pe dirijorul Cristian Brancusi, precum si cateva importante lucrari camerale cu Trio “Sternin”.

Daria Tudor - o viitoare mare pianista

Daria Tudor was born on the 25th of July 1997, in Ploiesti, Romania. She started the piano study in her native town, at the age of 4 with Anca Florentina Borcea. From 2004 till 2014 she studied with Professors: Serban Dimitrie Soreanu from the National University of Music from Bucharest and Adriana Bocaneanu from the National College “Dinu Lipatti”.

Daria Tudor finished the High school in July 2015, receiving the title “In Honoris”.

In February 2015 Daria Tudor was accepted at Universität der Künste in Berlin, at Prof. Pascal Devoyon class.

Daria Tudor is a member of Trio “Sternin” (along with the violinist Georgeta Iordache and the cello players Ella Bokor / Andrei Ionita).

Daria Tudor’s artistic debut is marked by the year 2002, when she obtains the Ist Prize at the National Competition “Paul Constantinescu”. Within years Daria Tudor was laureate at numerous national and international competitions, as follow: 2015 – the II edition of the international festival “Sabin Pautza” – The Great Prize; the Malta International Piano Competition – IIIrd Prize; the XVIII edition of the International Piano Competition in Montrond les Bains – France, “Grand Prix” section, age limit 26 – Ist Prize. the XII edition of the International Piano Competition “Citta di Padova” – “Soloists with Orchestra” section, age category 36 – Ist Prize; 2014 – the XII edition of the International Piano Competition “Citta di Padova”, “Virtuosity” section – IInd Prize; the XXX edition of the International Piano Competition “Valsesia Musica”, age category 37 – semifinalist; “Barlassina International Young Talents Competition” – IInd Prize (at both sections – classic and romantic concerts); 2013 – the XII edition of the International Piano Competition “Nice Cote d’Azur”, “Diplôme de Concert” section, age category 23 – IInd (Ist and IIIrd not awarded); the XXIII edition of the International Piano Competition “Citta di Cantu”, age category 35– semifinalist; 2005 – “Antonino Miserendino” European Competition, Italy – the Great Prize; 2004 – “Jeunesses Musicales” International Piano Competition, Romania – Ist Prize. Moreover, Daria Tudor gains the chambers music competitions “George Georgescu”, “Gradus ad Parnassum” and “The Journey to Celebrity”.

Her first concert with orchestra takes place at the age of only 9, together with the National Radio Chamber Orchestra under the conducting of Alexandru Ganea, in the “Mihail Jora” Hall of Romanian Radio Broadcasting. Ever since, she has been playing together with conductors Maffeo Scarpis, Dirk Vermeulen, Fakhradin Kerimov, Horia Andreescu, Vladimir Onufriev, Ilarion Ionescu-Galati, Ovidiu Balan, Sabin Pautza, Vlad Conta, Costin Grigore, Radu Postavaru, as well as with almost all the Romanian State Philharmonics orchestras, with Belgian “Prima la Musica “Orchestra (in the Auditorium of the “La Monnaie” Royal Theater, in Brussels) and with the Padova and Venice Philharmonic Orchestra.

In 2013 Daria Tudor recorded, for the Romanian National Radio “Golden Archive”, the Beethoven Concert no.1, op.15, within the de Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra and conductor Cristian Brancusi, and, also, some important chamber music pieces (with Trio “Sternin”).

Daria Tudor performed also numerous solo and chamber recitals, on the most all Romanian State Philharmonics stages, in the main Auditorium and in the “Studio” Hall of the Romanian Athenaeum, in the “Mihail Jora” Auditorium of the Romanian National Broadcasting, in ICR – Berlin, on the big stage of the “Givatayim” Theatre – Tel Aviv, in the “Atelier” Hall of the Romania National Theatre – Bucharest, on the main Auditorium of the Royal Conservatory – Koninklijk in Brussels, in the Concert Hall of the Peles Royal Castle in Sinaia, at the “Jewish Comunity Center”- Bucharest, in the “Nativity and St. Andrew” Cathedral Ploiesti.
