Welcome Concert for the newly arrived Ambassadors of Hungary and Germany
HE Ulla Krauss-Nussbaumer, Ambassador of Austria, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Societatea Muzicală organized the Welcome Concert in honor of H.E. Katalin Kissne Hlatki and H.E. Angela Ganninger, the newly arrived ambassadors of Hungary and Germany.
The concert took place at the Austrian Residence, 7 Dumbrava Roșie St, on Tuesday, 14th of October at 3pm, and was followed by a vin d’honneur.

Avin Ahmadi (Oud, Voice, Composer) discovered her passion for the oud at age nine, studying at Tehran’s Music Conservatory with masters like Negar Bouban and Hojat Farajian. After performing at Tehran’s Vahdat and Roudaki Halls, she moved to Austria to study Jazz Improvisation at Anton Bruckner University. Living in Vienna, Avin fuses Persian musical tradition with jazz and contemporary styles, reflecting her collaborations with artists from around the world. She is an Austrian music ambassador, being a part of the New Austrian Sound of Music Program of the Austrian Ministry of European and International Affairs.
Ioana Bălașa (Flute) is a soloist and chamber musician with the “George Enescu” Philharmonic. Trained in Bucharest and Strasbourg, she has performed at the Romanian Athenaeum and “George Enescu” Museum. Ioana co-founded the “Limite” ensemble, exploring innovative sonorities and blending classical music with Ottoman and experimental influences.
Tudor Scripcariu (Piano), a prize-winning pianist, graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music and holds a PhD on Franz Schubert’s cycles. He has performed as a soloist and with orchestras in Romania, China, France, and Italy. Tudor is known for his refined interpretations and collaborative projects, including the Duo Catharsis with soprano Laura Chera.
Bogdan Platy (Violin), founder of the “Bucharest Tango Trio,” is a versatile violinist active in classical, tango, and fusion styles. He has performed at international festivals and collaborated with artists like Sarah Brightman and Maxim Vengerov. Bogdan’s repertoire spans chamber music, interdisciplinary projects, and charitable concerts.
