Luca Pi\u021bu a \u00eenceput s\u0103 spun\u0103 povestea scrierii neterminate, ad\u0103ug\u00eend extrase documentare (v. articolul s\u0103u \u00abRomanul nostru cu c\u00eentec: \u00ab<em>Brazde peste haturi\u00bb revisited<\/em>, <em>Arge\u015f<\/em>, ianuarie, 2008). \u00cen cele ce urmeaz\u0103, pentru a prefa\u021ba publicarea \u00een aceea\u015fi revist\u0103 a paginilor salvate (23 dintr-un total de 45), ofer cititorului o re-introducere minimal\u0103 \u00een textul \u015fi contextul \u00abromanului\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen toamna anului 1982, c\u00eend ne frecventam foarte asiduu \u015fi convorbeam \u00eendelung, f\u0103c\u00eend \u015fi alte proiecte comune \u2013 de pild\u0103, publicarea simultan\u0103, pe dou\u0103 pagini de revist\u0103 (studen\u021beasc\u0103 ie\u015fean\u0103) fa\u021b\u0103 \u00een fa\u021b\u0103, a unor texte cu trimiteri \u00ab\u00een cruce\u00bb , Luca Pi\u021bu, Dan Petrescu \u015fi cu mine am ini\u021biat un exerci\u021biu contra-literar (\u00een sens mai larg, contracultural): scrierea unui roman-foileton. Casa Universitarilor din Ia\u015fi este locul probabil unde a ap\u0103rut ini\u021biativa, \u00een timpul unuia din pr\u00eenzurile la care m\u0103 al\u0103turam \u015fi eu lui Luca Pi\u021bu, un veteran al stabilimentului. Pe vremea aceea, grupul Ars Amatoria (\u00een care Ioan Gro\u015fan era vioara \u00eent\u00eei) serializa \u00een <em>Via<\/em><em>\u021b<\/em><em>a studen<\/em><em>\u021b<\/em><em>easc\u0103 <\/em>\u2013 \u00aborganul central\u00bb al UASCR \u015fi loc de ucenicie al multor scriitori \u015fi jurnali\u015fti afirma\u021bi deplin dup\u0103 1989 \u2013 ceea ce avea s\u0103 devin\u0103 splendidul roman <em>O sut\u0103 de ani de zile la Por<\/em><em>\u021b<\/em><em>ile Orientului<\/em>. Noi visam \u00eens\u0103 la o scriere mai apropiat\u0103 de pasiunile noastre intelectuale \u015fi ideologice, un text postmodern al c\u0103rui prim nivel \u2013 narativ \u2013 s\u0103 se constituie relativ repede, \u015fi ale c\u0103rui nivele ulterioare s\u0103 fie \u021besute de autori prin recurs la note de subsol, glose, comentarii, polemici etc. De la <em>\u021a<\/em><em>iganiada<\/em>, literatura rom\u00e2n\u0103 nu e str\u0103in\u0103 de asemenea opera\u021bii. Dan Petrescu (care publicase adeseori sub pseudonim la Po\u015fta redac\u021biei \u021binut\u0103 de Emil Brumaru \u00een <em>Cronica<\/em>) \u015fi cu mine, reu\u015fisem s\u0103 plas\u0103m astfel un scurt schimb de replici despre&#8230;\u00eent\u00eelnirea cu caracati\u021ba. Cum Luca Pi\u021bu \u015fi cu mine copil\u0103risem la sat (el s-a n\u0103scut \u00een 1947, eu \u2013 \u00een 1957), tema \u00abcolectiviz\u0103rii\u00bb agriculturii ni s-a impus destul de repede.<\/p>\n<p>Titlul a venit \u015fi el u\u015for, fiindc\u0103 lecturile noastre comune includeau romanul realist-socialist <em>Brazd\u0103 peste haturi <\/em>de Istv\u00e1n Horvath , tradus rom\u00e2ne\u015fte la ESPLA \u00een 1952. Eu am ad\u0103ugat cuv\u00eentul englez <em>revisited<\/em>, cu g\u00eendul la continu\u0103rile celor dou\u0103 mari romane distopice care au precedat opera lui Orwell: <em>Erewhon <\/em>(de Samuel Butler), respectiv <em>Brave New World <\/em>(de Aldous Huxley).<\/p>\n<p>Discu\u021bia dintre Luca Pi\u021bu \u015fi mine avea loc \u00een paralel cu alte dou\u0103 episoade din via\u021ba micii comunit\u0103\u021bi intelectuale din jurul revistelor studen\u021be\u015fti ie\u015fene <em>Dialog <\/em>\u015fi <em>Opinia <\/em><em>studen<\/em><em>\u021b<\/em><em>easc\u0103 <\/em>\u2013 o foarte precar\u0103 \u015fi dezbinat\u0103 (dac\u0103 mi se permite oximoronul) comunitate asediat\u0103, dinafar\u0103 \u015fi din\u0103untru, ca mai toate celelalte din Rom\u00e2nia comunist\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>Primul episod \u00eel are ca protagonist pe Dan Petrescu, care devenise principala atrac\u021bie a \u00abSerilor <em>Dialog<\/em>\u00bb, serate culturale desf\u0103\u015furate \u00een barul de la subsolul Casei Tineretului \u015fi Studen\u021bilor din Ia\u015fi, loc important al culturii alternative ie\u015fene din anii \u015faptezeci \u015fi optzeci, at\u00eeta \u015fi cum a fost. Dan Petrescu ne delecta de regul\u0103 cu o devastatoare \u015fi amuzant\u0103 revist\u0103 a revistelor culturale, dar \u00een noiembrie 1982 a citit \u015fi o proz\u0103 scurt\u0103, publicat\u0103 apoi, \u00abPosibilit\u0103\u021bile de a scrie un roman al colectiviz\u0103rii scrutate de Arghir cel B\u0103tr\u00een \u015fi Be\u021biv la B\u0103lt\u0103re\u021bul \u00een chiar zilele noastre\u00bb. Nu se putea imagina o mai bun\u0103 introducere pentru romanul nostru! De\u015fi a fost scris\u0103 independent de discu\u021biile dintre Luca Pi\u021bu \u015fi mine, textul lui Dan Petrescu ni s-a p\u0103rut o parte organic\u0103 \u015fi oarecum profetic\u0103 (sau m\u0103car proleptic\u0103) a totului pl\u0103nuit.<\/p>\n<p>Al doilea episod se leag\u0103 tot de \u00abSerile <em>Dialog<\/em>\u00bb, unde George Pruteanu str\u0103lucea \u00een aceea\u015fi perioad\u0103 ca parodist, citind \u00eentre altele o delirant\u0103 compunere inspirat\u0103 de <em>Divina Comedie <\/em>(pu\u021bini dintre cei care l-au cunoscut pe George Pruteanu dup\u0103 1989 vor fi \u015ftiind c\u0103 el este \u015fi un italienist redutabil). Dac\u0103 asocierea lui Dan Petrescu la proiectul romanului era automat\u0103, ideea atragerii lui George Pruteanu ia venit lui Luca Pi\u021bu. \u00cen scurt timp, cvartetul era format, ba chiar \u015fi-a g\u0103sit un nume potrivit: Artelul Textual.<\/p>\n<p>Pe l\u00eeng\u0103 textul lui Dan Petrescu adoptat ca introducere, manuscrisul includea urm\u0103toarele capitole, numite episoade, semnate de urm\u0103torii autori:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>\u015ei caii se \u00eempu\u015fc\u0103, nu<\/strong><strong>&#8211;<\/strong><strong>i a\u015fa? <\/strong>(Sorin Antohi)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Un chirov, dou\u0103 chiroave <\/strong>(Dan Petrescu)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Din neagra <\/strong><strong>\u021b<\/strong><strong>ig\u0103nie, m\u00eenca<\/strong><strong>&#8211;<\/strong><strong>\u021b<\/strong><strong>i<\/strong><strong>&#8211;<\/strong><strong>a\u015f! <\/strong>(George Pruteanu)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Visul tovar\u0103\u015fului inginer agronom <\/strong>(Luca Pi\u021bu)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Azi e zi de s\u0103rb\u0103toare <\/strong>(Sorin Antohi)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Iar stelu<\/strong><strong>\u021b<\/strong><strong>a cea de sus, ce<\/strong><strong>-o mai fi av\u00eend de\u00a0<\/strong><strong>spus? <\/strong>(Dan Petrescu)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vicii la Sfat <\/strong>(George Pruteanu)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dictotaurul <\/strong>(Luca Pi\u021bu)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ascensiunea lui Iordache Leahu poate fi\u00a0<\/strong><strong>oprit\u0103 <\/strong>(Luca Pi\u021bu).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Locul ac\u021biunii, satul Chipe\u015feni, comuna Dimparis (fiindc\u0103, \u015ftim de la orele de gramatic\u0103, \u00ab\u00eenainte de <em>b <\/em>\u015fi <em>p<\/em>, scriem <em>m<\/em>\u00bb, a\u015fa s-ar ortografia toponimul fictiv), precum \u015fi cele mai multe nume de persoane (inspirate foarte liber de persoane reale din satul copil\u0103riei mele), au fost introduse de mine. Regula era s\u0103 ne scriem fiecare episodul dup\u0103 ce-l citeam pe precedentul, dup\u0103 care s\u0103 d\u0103m exemplarul unic al dactilogramei autorului care venea la r\u00eend.<\/p>\n<p>Aceast\u0103 procedur\u0103 a dus la prima lectur\u0103 cu adev\u0103rat public\u0103 a romanului, dup\u0103 ce unele episoade mai fuseser\u0103 citite sau date spre lectur\u0103 prietenilor ie\u015feni. Dan Petrescu \u015fi cu mine am participat pe 17-20 decembrie 1982 la colocviul \u00abT\u00een\u0103rul scriitor\u2013Literatura actual\u0103\u2013Actualitatea literar\u0103\u00bb, o reuniune pornit\u0103 probabil din bune inten\u021bii \u015fi transformat\u0103 pe parcurs \u00eentr-un fel de capcan\u0103 pentru vreo patruzeci de Optzeci\u015fti din toat\u0103 \u021bara. \u00abAc\u021biunea\u00bb a avut loc la Buz\u0103u, la Casa de Cultur\u0103 a \u015etiin\u021bei \u015fi Tehnicii pentru Tineret, ceea ce va fi facilitat ne\u00eendoielnic supravegherea \u00ab\u00een timp real\u00bb: eram caza\u021bi cu to\u021bii \u00een micul hotel al Casei (dac\u0103 ridicai receptorul telefonului din camer\u0103 pentru a suna la Recep\u021bie, auzeai toate convorbirile din celelalte camere; pe masa din sala de conferin\u021be mergea non-stop un magnetofon; unde or fi \u00eenregistr\u0103rile?). Am g\u0103sit printre cele 1.685 de pagini pomenite la \u00eenceput declara\u021bii ale unora dintre organizatori, o list\u0103 a Securit\u0103\u021bii (U.M. 0896 Buz\u0103u) cu datele personale, adresele \u015fi prezen\u021ba participan\u021bilor, aparent transcrise din registrul hotelului etc. \u00cen acel cadru, confra\u021bii ne-au invitat \u015fi pe noi, pe Dan Petrescu \u015fi pe mine, s\u0103 citim ceva. Cum aveam la noi romanul, fiindc\u0103 ne venea r\u00eendul la scris \u015fi voiam s\u0103 recitim ansamblul, am decis s\u0103 ne producem cu asta. Dan nu avea alte proze la \u00eendem\u00een\u0103, iar ceea ce scriam noi de regul\u0103 erau eseuri pu\u021bin pretabile la o lectur\u0103 public\u0103. Citind cu glas tare, cu ochii la rolele magnetofonului \u015fi la publicul tot mai atent, mi-a venit s\u0103 declam cu vocea lui Ceau\u015fescu un citat din Gheoghiu-Dej inserat \u00een text. De\u015fi nu m\u0103 apropiam de legendara capacitate a lui Ioan T. Morar de a-l impersona suprarealist \u015fi parodic pe Geniul Carpa\u021bilor, colegii no\u015ftri scriitori sau amuzat. Securitatea, dimpotriv\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen orice caz, \u00eenceputul nostru de roman, despre care \u00eencepusem s\u0103 vorbim peste tot (eu l-am pomenit \u00een scris \u00een <em>Dialog<\/em>; \u015fi l-am mai citit cu glas tare unor colegi de facultate, \u00een trenul c\u0103tre Cluj, unde mergeam la sesiunea de comunic\u0103ri anual\u0103 a studen\u021bilor; am g\u0103sit \u015fi nota informativ\u0103 relevant\u0103) pentru a ne proteja, pretinz\u00eend c\u0103 voiam s\u0103-l oferim unei edituri de\u015fi textul ie\u015fea bini\u015for din conven\u021biile timpului, a fost unul din principalele capete de acuzare repetate mereu de Securitate \u00een actele privitoare la \u00abGrupul de la Ia\u015fi\u00bb, de la ancheta colectiv\u0103 din mai 1983 \u015fi p\u00een\u0103 la c\u0103derea regimului. Cititorul are acum prilejul, la peste 25 de ani dup\u0103 confiscare, s\u0103 descopere acest embrion de samizdat. Dac\u0103 el va fi vreodat\u0103 recuperat \u00een totalitate, exist\u0103 proiectul de a-l publica \u00een volum, dimpreun\u0103 cu un aparat critic (cel pu\u021bin memorialistic). Lectura, anevoioas\u0103 \u015fi \u00een epoc\u0103, e \u015fi mai dificil\u0103 azi: vorbim de un text ale c\u0103rui trimiteri culturale s\u00eent practic str\u0103ine tinerilor.<\/p>\n<p>Cele 23 de pagini reg\u0103site \u015fi publicate aici reprezint\u0103 episoadele I, II, III, V \u015fi VI, precum \u015fi un fragment din episodul VII. E ciudat c\u0103 niciunul din episoadele scrise de Luca Pi\u021bu nu s-a p\u0103strat. El are o foarte plauzibil\u0103 ipotez\u0103: vor fi fost colec\u021bionate altundeva, tot ca \u00abprobe\u00bb \u00eempotriva lui, eventual de o natur\u0103 mai special\u0103.
