Described as the \u201ctrue heir to the dramatic soprano repertory\u201d (New York Times<\/em>), Metropolitan Opera star Christine Goerke<\/strong> will sing the role of Leonora. Russell Thomas<\/strong> returns to Cincinnati Opera to lend his \u201cstrong, clarion voiced\u201d (New York Times<\/em>) tenor to the role of Florestan. \u201cImpressive\u201d (Cincinnati Enquirer<\/em>) bass Nathan Stark<\/strong> appears as Rocco.
